The World Tree 2007 3D

This piece won Best of Show at the 2007 Conglomeration Art Show. It has gone through a couple of background changes but with the help of friends I have decided to leave it like it was originally. 

The concept is based on Norse mythology and is an interpretation of the World Tree of their legends.

As this is the first post from the official Darkforestpath(The Art of Christopher Hill)blog ,I thought I would post an image of the Chesley Nominated piece entitled "Woodbone". It was created predominately out of bark and was awarded Best 3D at the World Fantasy Convention Artshow in Madison Wisconsin, as well as best 3D at The Conglomeration Artshow . I am very proud of Woodbone  and I don't think there will be another quite like  him. He sold at World Fantasy to a well known collector residing in California.
